Our Cattery

Our cattery is visiting our home. Before visiting our home-based cattery, please view "Available Kittens" to learn more about each unique kitten and its journey to its forever homes. Once you have placed a hold on a kitten, you may visit our cattery after the kittens have received their first vaccination between 6-8 weeks. Only kittens that are not on hold or reserved will be available for viewing. Sorry, we do not offer stud service nor sell breeding rights for any kitten.

Genetically Tested

At Bluenose Mountain Maine Coons, all our cats get genetically tested from Wisdom Panel using the most comprehensive and advanced DNA testing. We pride ourselves on providing genetically sound cats with no diseases or other problems.

Wisdom Panel offers the most comprehensive DNA testing available in the market now. They also provide a full breed report, extensive health insights that include screens for 70+ breeds and populations, tests for 45 genetic health conditions, tests for 25+ physical traits, and so much more.

Kittens

We spend a lot of time raising healthy, socialized, and confident Maine Coon kittens in our home with children, birds, and dogs. Our loving kittens are raised underfoot and sold to approved homes only since we are very particular about placing them in a home that will love them the way we do. Our kittens are a part of our family, and we spend so much time caring for them.

The litter-trained kittens will go to their new homes between 12-16 weeks. Male Kittens must be neutered by 12 months of age and females spayed by age 6 months.

When buying a kitten, you will receive the kitten registration applications to TICA (The International Cat Association) upon receipt of a copy of the spay/neuter statement from the Vet. If you fail to meet this signed agreement in the contract, you will be charged an additional amount for purchasing the equivalent price of a "breeder" animal ($9000).

The cattery may pursue legal action for breach of contract at the buyer's expense. Your kitten will come with the following:

• A TICA Breeder slip for registration
• A Veterinary Health Record
• 2 Rounds of core vaccinations and up-to-date deworming
• 2-year Health Guarantee

At Bluenose Mountain Maine Coons, we do not ship kittens. Also, we do not accept credit cards or payment of deposits via PayPal (deposits only). The deposit is included in the purchase price, and no declawing is allowed. We sell our pet/show kittens and place them in new homes at 12-16 weeks of age with a required spay/neuter contract.
